Martha Lake Veterinary Clinic is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. Pal acquired Cedar Plaza Vet in June 2012 and expanded to Martha Lake Vet, Lynnwood in 2015. He graduated from Punjab Agricultural University, India in 2004. Further, he achieved a Master's (2006) in Veterinary Parasitology from GADVASU, India, and Ph.D. (2010) in Animal Sciences from WSU, Pullman WA. Since moving to WA state in 2006 Dr. Pal has made the Pacific Northwest his home.
Dr. Nikki is originally from Indiana, completed her vet school from the Caribbean, started her practice in February 2016 and joined our team in February 2018. Her areas of interests include soft tissue surgery and preventative care. Mango, her adopted dog, follows her to the clinic every day and enjoys stealing attention away from other pets.
Dr. Pettet moved to the Pacific Northwest from Kansas City, Missouri after completing her vet school at the University of Missouri. She joined our team in June 2020. Her areas of interest include internal medicine and clinical pathology. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her cat, Percy, and exploring the many hiking trails of the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Jenkins grew up in Bellingham, WA. She completed vet school at Ross University in the Caribbean and clinical year at Colorado State University. Her areas of interest include surgery, cardiology and preventative medicine. Outside of work she enjoys running marathons, going to the gym and hanging out with her pets. She has a dog (Ella) and a cat (Ting) from the Caribbean and a dog from Colorado (Yogi).
Dr. Johnson graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a post-doctoral master’s program at the University of Minnesota. He has practiced clinical veterinary medicine for over a decade, working with dogs and cats, wildlife, and large animals. In his spare time, he volunteers with various search and rescue groups in Washington State and can often be found working with his search dog “Shuksan” to find lost people in the woods.
Dr. Wendy Karle, an Ohio State University alumna, has been a practicing veterinarian since 2005. Her wide-ranging experience reflects her ability to provide a varied and thorough approach to veterinary medicine. Dr. Karle's role as a caring guardian to her family, which includes two children, five dogs, two cats, and a hamster, is a testament to her dedication and love for animals. Her extensive experience in the field is a crucial asset to our team.
